Well, well, well. Looky what we have here. PropaTingz contacted me and asked if we could shed some more light on his new release, and share its glory with the good people who come to us for their daily injection of filth. I was more than happy to do that. We don’t have a freebie to give away with this one, im very, very sorry. But, i think you will appreciate the shear splendor this EP has in store. This glitchy, filthy banger of an EP is guaranteed to get your feet tapping and your face making all kinds of shapes. I love PropaTingz, he has a sound comparable to none, and he makes my insides dance.
STRONG/Awaken/Back to Business
Released on PLAY ME records Beatport – JAN 2nd 2012
STRONG - Bored of the glut of Dubstep out there Propa has been working on expanding the genre, adding elements of musicality and pushing away from the usual formula. Enter stage left John Jamin, a classicaly trained madman from Vancouver BC. John and Propa teamed up to thread elements of light and dark, nasty and beautifull to produce something completely epic. This track also sees the first full foray into Propa’s Live project…..more to come in 2012.
Listen to STRONG here:
AWAKEN - a remix of an original track by “The Empire Shall Fall”, a band featuring and formed by ex “KILL SWITCH ENGAGE’ frontman Jesse Leach. A friend introduced Propa to the band and he was instantly taken back by the ”conscious ferocity” of the vocals. Knowing full well the power of the Dubstep Metal hybrid he immediatly contacted the band and impressed upon them the potential of such a collab. Next week the stems were in his inbox and what you here is the product
Listen to Awaken Remix here:
BACK TO BUSINESS - Propa and KleptoMaddox have been sharing the stage on the US Dubstep scene for some time now. Impressed by there unique Cali flow it was only time before he mananged to get them in the studio. In this track he employed his “BREAKBEATBUDDHA” glitch hop skills to craft out a GlitchStep banger.
Listen to Back to Business here:
A day or so ago i saw an email from Ant at Chronos, and i noticed its beautiful words “EP Coming soon, SPECIAL GUESTS!”
I un-zipped that beauty quicker than you could imagine, and started sifting through the filth. Deep within this overflowing bag of joy, appeared a text file with treasures i was told to divulge. Here it is, wet your whistles on this:
Chronos Records is proud to present: BASSBOOK EP
After the huge success of Farmville EP and the badman Eptic EP we thought we would go all out on this one!
Bassbook EP is by far the filthiest, most gut wrenching EP we have compiled to date and seriously cannot be missed. At the forefront of the EP are 12GAUGE, this duo from the Netherlands have been setting the dubstep scene ablaze with their mental drum loops, ferocious bass and quirky sampling. These boys have even had a load of zombies dancing to one of their tracks on ‘America’s Got Talent’ :-/…how did that happen?.
Lurking behind 12GAUGE you have the one and only dreadlocked robo swede……DAYN, his two Bassbook tracks are outstanding! The much anticipated ‘Distortion Field’ and a sick colab with buddy DALADUBZ will be helping kids get a dirty robostep fix across the world. Known for his intense style DAYN has seriously outdone himself on this one. To garnish an already very fine EP we thought who better to bring the noise than the one and only JOGO this non-bunny rabbit will be gracing us with his two finest tracks, one of which is club smasher ‘Extinguish’ which he has been pounding into ear holes across Europe and the other….well you will have to wait on that one
Finally…the icing on the dirty basscake that is Bassbook! We have 2 SPECIAL GUESTS at the end of the EP with two AMAZING tracks that you wont know a thing about until release time which will be MID JANUARY, EXCLUSIVE TO BEATPORT!
We hope your as excited about this EP as we are! Fuck you Mark Zukereburgerface…this is what you could have done!
Here is a preview of all the filth and dirty bass your ear holes could want:
But for now you’ll have to take these an as offering of Chronos’ respect and friendship. I’m so glad we have friends and dirty places. Enjoy, find the downloads below.

I found this guy whilst i was scrolling the mass amounts of filth that resides in the greasy depths of the interweb, when i stumbled upon this collection of ditties from a gentleman they call KillaGraham. I really didn’t know what to expect, but upon closer inspection, i saw, what some may deem as sheer brilliance, with a slice of insanity. But, thankfully for KillaGraham, thats how i like my ears to be penetrated. Enjoy.
Here’s to you beautiful dubstep community. Maybe a bit late with a post in the new year, but i have been off my face for a day or two. Please take these 2 free tracks from Bare himself as a sign of peaceful transition into the new year. Happy 2012 to one and all. Love, Rich. x

Skunkshaft – Stupid Freak DOWNLOAD LINK
Alex Shulgin aka Skunkshaft is a Russian dubstep producer who is relatively new to the whole bass music scene, but is proving to be a very fast learner. His shift in focus from hip-hop production to dubstep/dnb late in 2010 seems to be paying off nicely for this new bass mechanic. His first release on Dawn Of Music Records: ”No God But Dub“ received large support from dubstep podcasts and radio stations across the net. His latest release “Break The Walls” recently released on Abstract Logic Recordings is proving that Skunkshaft is definitely a name worth checking for.
Producers and DJs, Skream (Oliver Jones) and Benga (Adegbenga Adejumo) have worked together for 10 years and are hailed as helping develop the dubstep genre. They’re responsible for some of its biggest releases and their international acclaim has earned them sets at the largest music festivals around the world.
“Scion A/V has a desire to find artists that go beyond the realm of typicality,” says Jeri Yoshizu, manager of sales promotions for Scion. “Skream and Benga are not only legendary DJs but legendary producers; these two have brought a sonic movement from their home and spread it across the world like wildfire. Wherever you go now, the sounds of dubstep follow you, thanks in part to them.”
Skream and Benga set the standard for dubstep producers and DJs, embodying an ever changing sound with the releases that are spread across their discography. Within the past few years, they’ve made a huge influence together, with their solo projects and also with Magnetic Man that features fellow producer/DJ Artwork. Since what feels like the dawn ‘o’ time, we at SquittyBubbler (Rich & Plesh) have strived to bring you the most ear punishingly brutal new dubstep we can find. This means, spending countless hours of our time trawling through the email submissions and stuff we get sent. However, we loose track of people, and sometimes overlook artists as we see their communications as appearing spammy.
We want to change this, and, as we are looking to have a few more dub heads come on boards with us at Squitty, we want to receive information in a suitable format, that will allow us to better handle the 1000′s of weekly requests.
Below you will find the cleanest way to explain yourself, and give us the best chance to see your talents.
If you would like us to consider featuring your beautiful self on Squitty Bubbler, then simply download the word doc below, and return it to squittygash@gmail.com with a few images and the tracks you can give away for free.
Check out this super cool calender for your 2012 wall. I’ve got mine! Its made by a couple designer-entrepreneurs that wanted a cool calendar, so they created it. And then successfully launched on Kickstarter in October 2011. Well done guys.

Singapore, officially the Republic of Singapore, is a Southeast Asian city-state off the southern tip of the Malay Peninsula, 137 kilometres (85 mi) north of the equator. An island country made up of 63 islands, it is separated from Malaysia by the Straits of Johor to its north and from Indonesia’s Riau Islands by the Singapore Strait to its south. Singapore is highly urbanised but almost half of the country is covered by greenery. More land is being created for development through land reclamation.
▲ Click to open ………………………………………………………… I’ve just got to Santiago, Chile and I thought it was time to do a retrospective of some photos I took in Brazil around 5 months ago before I had really kicked things off with this photo blog. I stumbled across this photo of some kids in Rocinha favela in Rio de Janeiro. I didn’t really take notice of it at first, but now it’s one of my favorites from South America. It was taken with the Olympus Pen that got stolen shortly after in Manaus in north Brazil… …………………………………………………………

I spent a day last October camped outside Westminster Magistrates court for the Dr Phil Show.
As it’s an US broadcast show, and such a small segment of it, I never expected to really see it. However after a quick youtube search I managed to find a glorious 2-3 second clip of my recording in this snippet
I just found someone has posted the National Lotterys big night show with the VT I recorded.
Don’t think I’ve posted this up on here yet so here it is.
‘Tide’, “A 10 minute short about a Father and his Son” (vimeo page) was a grad film from LCC that I was lucky enough to be a part of as sound designer (and probably unlucky enough to be on location).
The location for shooting the beach scenes was really astounding. With clay like beaches that stretch to the horizon and fierce february snow blowing sideways, we all had our work cut out for us.
However it was definitely an experience I remember with fondness, even the several hours I spent digging into the clay to create the hole for the final scene.
Since making this short, director/writer Luke White has gone on to make music videos and promos for the likes of Mystery Jets and a directing partnership with Remi Weekes.
